Richard Jefferson (knee) not playing as Cavaliers take on Chicago
Cleveland Cavaliers guard/forward Richard Jefferson (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday against the Chicago Bulls.
Jefferson's absence could lead to more minutes for J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and/or Channing Frye. He's working with a career-low 12.3 usage percentage this season, so there isn't too much opportunity created by Jefferson's absence.
numberFire's algorithms project Smith to score 9.0 points and 2.0 3-pointers in 31.6 minutes while adding 2.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steals.
