Robert Covington (knee) ruled out for 76ers' upcoming two-game road trip
Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (right knee soreness) will not make the trip for games on Friday and Sunday as doctors continue to evaluate results of his MRI.
The MRI took place Wednesday. Covington has already missed one game and it's possible the 76ers hold him out for the remaining games left on the schedule as they vie for better draft position. Justin Anderson is a solid pickup with Covington out of the lineup.
In three starts this season, Anderson is averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. His -1.6 nERD is eighth on the 76ers.
