Knicks' Joakim Noah begins 20-game suspension Wednesday
New York Knicks forward/center Joakim Noah (knee) will begin serving his 20-game suspension on Wednesday.
Noah is now medically cleared, meaning he'll miss the final 12 games on the schedule this season, in addition to another eight next year. Now 32, Noah's days of fantasy relevance are behind him.
Noah finishes the 2016-17 season averaging 5.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. His 12.5 percent usage rate was the second-lowest of his career.
