DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) questionable for the Pelicans on Monday

New Orleans Pelicans forward/center DeMarcus Cousins (sprained right ankle) is questionable to suit up against the Utah Jazz on Monday, per head coach Alvin Gentry.

What It Means:

The ankle injury sidelined Cousins on Sunday against the Denver Nuggets, and with the Pelicans unlikely to hold shootaround on the second half of a back-to-back, we may have to wait until much closer to tip-off to get any kind of confirmation on his status tonight. Look for Dante Cunningham to draw another start if Cousins can't go.

numberFire's models account for Cousins being sidelined today, and project Cunningham for 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 25.0 minutes of action as a starter.
