Stephen Curry leads Golden State with 27 points on Friday
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry handed out a season-high 12 assists during a 114-100 win over the Sacramento Kings on Friday, adding 27 points, seven rebounds, six steals and five 3-pointers in 33 minutes.
Curry's inability to replicate his huge numbers from last season have been called a down year, but he has been red-hot from downtown over his last four, averaging 52.5% from distance. He also owns the second best effective field goal percentage (eFG%) of any starting point guard behind only Seth Curry. In no way is Stephen having a down year.
Curry is averaging 24.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.8 steals over 33.4 minutes per game this season. He owns a .573 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of 13.0 ranks 8th-best in the NBA this season.
