Nuggets upgrade Danilo Gallinari (knee) to questionable for Friday
Denver Nuggets small forward Danilo Gallinari (left knee bone bruise) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday against the Indiana Pacers.
What It Means:
Gallinari has been unavailable for the past four contests, but he was close to playing on Wednesday and appears to be nearing a return. His return will eat into the minutes of Wilson Chandler and Will Barton, while Kenneth Faried and Mason Plumlee are also likely to see less time at the four.
Gallinari's 4.9 nERD is tied for 39th in the NBA this season and ranks behind only Nikola Jokic (9.2 nERD) on the Nuggets roster. He's averaging 17.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.9 3-pointers per game on the year.
