Hassan Whiteside (hand) participates in Thursday's shootaround for Miami
After receiving stitches in his hand on Tuesday night, Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside was able to participate in Thursday morning's shootaround.
What It Means:
Whiteside intends to suit up for tonight's game against the Toronto Raptors, though head coach Erik Spoelstra did say that his big man did mostly left-handed work at shootaround, which may limit him somewhat tonight. We should have a more definitive word on his status after Miami's pre-game warmup.
Assuming he does suit up, our models project Whiteside for 15.9 points, 13.0 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 32.7 minutes of action against the Raptors tonight.
