X-rays come back negative for Knicks' Derrick Rose (foot)
New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose underwent X-rays on his left foot after Wednesday's loss to the Utah Jazz, and they came back negative.
Rose did return to the game after suffering the injury, but it's still encouraging news that the X-rays came back negative. The Knicks have no incentive to rush him back to the court, being well out of playoff contention, and if he misses any time then look for Ron Baker to see his role increase, while Chasson Randle would also stand to see an up-tick in minutes.
Rose has averaged 17.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 32.5 minutes per game in his first season with the Knicks. He ranks only 441st among 478 players with a -3.4 nERD on the year.
