Celtics' Isaiah Thomas (knee) returns with a strong game in victory over Washington
Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas (knee) returned to the lineup with 25 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 three-pointers as the Celtics beat the Washington Wizards 110-102 on Monday.
Thomas missed two games this weekend with knee tightness, but he played almost 35 minutes in his return to the lineup. It doesn't appear that he will be limited at all moving forward.
Thomas is averaging a career-high 29.1 points to go with 6.0 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 34.1 minutes per game this season. He leads Celtics players and ranks fourth in the NBA with a 14.5 nERD.
