DeMar DeRozan puts up another huge game for Toronto
Toronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan had 37 points on 13-of-25 shooting, including a game-winner with less than two seconds remaining, while also adding 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 37 minutes of action as the Raptors beat the New York Knicks 92-91.
With the recent news that Kyle Lowry (wrist surgery) is expected to miss a few weeks, DeRozan will continue to play a huge role for the Raptors moving forward. With Lowry sidelined over the last three games, DeRozan has averaged 37.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals while playing 37.0 minutes per game with a massive 41.2 percent usage rate.
DeRozan finished Monday's win with a game-high 36.7 nERD, per numberFire Live. He ranks second on the Raptors (behind Lowry) and 23rd in the NBA with a 5.9 nERD on the season.
