Thunder's Russell Westbrook triple-doubles for 28th time this year
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook recorded his 28th triple-double of the season, racking up 17 points, 17 assists and 18 rebounds, in Friday's win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Westbrook became just the sixth player in history to record 15+ points, 15+ assists and 15+ rebounds in a regular season game. He shot 12-of-26 from the field and 8-of-9 from the line with six turnovers, as he feasted against a Lakers team that has allowed the third most fantasy points to point guards this season. He gets another dream matchup against the revamped New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.
Though Westbrook's Effective Field Goal Rate is fifth-lowest among the 41 guards to average over 30 minutes per game this year, he's at a career-high in points per game (30.8), total rebounds per game (10.6), and assists per game (10.2).
