FanDuel Fantasy Points Per Game More DFS

76ers' Richaun Holmes blocks five, double-doubles Friday

Philadelphia 76ers power forward Richaun Holmes owned the paint against the Washington Wizards on Friday, scoring 12 points with 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals and five blocks in 26 minutes.

What It Means:

Holmes has outplayed Jahlil Okafor basically all season -- and at times he's been ahead of him on the depth chart too. He's always been capable per-minute, has some shooting touch, and he obviously can block shots. With Joel Embiid (knee) out for at least three more games and Nerlens Noel traded, Holmes could have some short term value in fantasy. It's not crazy to think he'll just outright pass Okafor once Embiid is back either.

Holmes has started just two games this year, but has averaged 22.8 minutes, 10.5 points, 4.5 total rebounds, and 2.0 assists in those starts. He has a 21.5 percent Usage Rate in those games as well.
