Jaylen Brown replacing Marcus Smart in Celtics' first unit Friday
Boston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown (hip) will return to the starting lineup and point guard Marcus Smart will move to the bench against the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
What It Means:
Brown will join Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Amir Johnson and Al Horford in the starting five for Boston. Despite the extra opportunity, the rookie doesn't carry much fantasy appeal. Smart also loses some value as a DFS play.
Brown is averaging 8.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 13 games as a starter this season. His -2.1 nERD is second-worst on the Celtics, ahead of only Smart (-3.0).
