Dario Saric expected to see more work for 76ers
Philadelphia 76ers power forward Dario Saric is expected to start and see a "more pronounced role" as a featured player, according to head coach Brett Brown.
With Ersan Ilyasova no longer in Philadelphia, Saric is the only healthy power forward left on the roster. The 22-year-old Croatian was really getting into a groove heading into the break, and Brown's comments indicate he'll have plenty of opportunity moving forward. Saric's arrow is pointing straight up for the remainder of his rookie campaign.
Saric is averaging 20.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.2 3-pointers in his last five games. Despite the strong stretch, his -5.3 nERD is tied for the fifth-worst mark in the NBA.
