Pau Gasol (hand) expected back for Spurs after All-Star break
San Antonio Spurs forward/center Pau Gasol (hand) is expected to be cleared to return to action after the All-Star break, head coach Gregg Popovich again stated on Wednesday.
Gasol was seen participating in some light shooting drills on Wednesday, suggesting he should be good to return after the break. Owners should continue to hold onto the big man, and his return will cut into the values of David Lee, Dewayne Dedmon and Davis Bertans.
Gasol is averaging a career-low 26.4 minutes this season, and he's responded with 11.7 points (career-low), 7.9 rebounds (third-lowest), 2.7 assists (tied for third-lowest) and 1.2 blocks (tied for second-lowest) per game. His 3.2 nERD currently ranks inside the NBA's top-50 this season.
