Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio managed only five points on 2-of-8 shooting on Tuesday, but also contributed 8 rebounds, 16 assists and 2 steals 38 minutes of action as the Wolves lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 116-108.
Contributing mainly in non-scoring areas is nothing new for Rubio, who is averaging a career-low 8.9 points to go with his 3.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game this season.
Rubio finished the loss with a game-low -19.9 nERD, per numberFire Live. That brings his season-long mark to a 0.0, which is tied for 156th in the NBA and fifth among Wolves players.
