Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap racked up 37 points, 19 boards, 7 assists, 3 three-pointers, 1 steal and 1 block in 60 minutes of action in Sunday's quadruple overtime win over the New York Knicks.
What It Means:
Millsap bounced back nicely from his four-point, four-rebound performance on Friday. The 37 points were a season-high as the veteran scored 30 or more points for only the third time this season. Sunday was also his 13th double-double of the year.
Millsap has bounced back from some early season struggles to average 18.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He's tied for 57th in the NBA with a 2.4 nERD.
