Hassan Whiteside (ankle) out Friday for Miami, questionable Saturday
Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside (ankle) will not play Friday night against the Chicago Bulls, and he's currently listed as day-to-day.
Head coach Erik Spoelstra said Whiteside will receive treatment throughout the day Friday prior to being re-evaluated ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Detroit Pistons. He admitted he shouldn't have played on Wednesday, but is eager to get back on the floor. Willie Reed is expected to get the start in his place.
With Whiteside sidelined, Reed becomes numberFire's favorite value play of the night for Friday night's DFS slate. He comes with a $3,900 price tag on FanDuel and our models project him for 12.4 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 32.0 minutes versus Chicago.
