Blake Griffin (knee) in action on Tuesday night for Clippers

Los Angeles Clippers forward/center Blake Griffin (knee) will start Tuesday's game versus the Philadelphia 76ers.

What It Means:

Griffin will return after being out since December 18. Head coach Doc Rivers stated that Griffin will be on a minutes limit in his first game back, but expect him to be plenty busy on offense over the next month or so with Chris Paul (thumb) sidelined. Per Sam Amick of USA Today, when Paul was out for an 18-game stretch back in 2014, Griffin led the Clippers in scoring (27.5 points per game on 55.4 percent shooting) while averaging 4.4 assists.

Our models project Griffin for 15.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 24.3 minutes of action in his return to the lineup against the 76ers. His 2.5 nERD this season is tied for 45th in the NBA and ranks fourth among Clippers players.
