Pelicans expect Anthony Davis to play on Monday
New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis (right quad) is expected to play on Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers according to coach Alvin Gentry.
What It Means:
Davis did not practice for the second day in a row on Sunday, but Gentry described Davis' injury as, "basically a charlie horse," so it doesn't seem like there's much to be concerned about. Davis has been banged up recently with a myriad of injuries though, so double check his status before locking him in on Monday.
Our models expect Davis to post 27.8 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists over 37.2 minutes on Monday against the Cavaliers.
