Anthony Davis (quad) misses Pelicans' Saturday practice
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis (quad) did not participate in Saturday's practice.
Davis has been banged up a lot recently, and while head coach Alvin Gentry has said that he doesn't think this will be a long-term issue, it's worth monitoring Davis' health moving forward. He has until Monday to heal up though, so it doesn't appear likely that this one will cause him to miss any games.
Davis is having a terrific season, averaging career-highs in both points (28.6) and rebounds (12.0) per game. He also ranks 12th in the NBA with a 7.2 nERD on the year.
