Celtics' Avery Bradley (Achilles) doubtful for Saturday
Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley (Achilles) will likely miss Saturday's game versus the Portland Trail Blazers, according to head coach Brad Stevens.
This would be the sixth game Bradley has missed for Boston over the last seven contests. Marcus Smart should draw the start while Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown see some extra run.
Smart is averaging 10.9 points, 4.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.3 3-pointers in 15 starts this season, but he's struggled recently, making just 20.0 percent of his shots from the field and a deplorable 8.3 percent from deep. His -2.8 nERD this season is last on the Celtics and 424th in the NBA (out of 454 players).
