Pelicans' Anthony Davis has a strong game despite injury scare on Wednesday
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis racked up 21 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block in 29 minutes of action on Wednesday as the Pelicans blew out the Orlando Magic 118-98.
Davis briefly left the game with a hand injury, but he was able to return and finish the contest with a splint on. He has been regularly banged up this season, though he has managed to play in all but three games so far, and is averaging career-highs in both points (28.8) and rebounds (12.1) to go with 2.2 assists, 2.4 blocks and 1.3 steals in 36.6 minutes per outing.
Davis ranked fourth among Pelicans players with a 13.6 nERD in Wednesday's win, per numberFire Live. He also leads the team and ranks 11th in the NBA on the season with a 7.3 nERD.
