Hawks to trade Mo Williams to Denver
The Atlanta Hawks are trading Mo Williams, as well as some cash, to the Denver Nuggets, per Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
The move gives Atlanta space to sign Gary Neal to a 10-day contract, as they had planned. Denver is expected to waive Williams. This will be the second time Williams has been traded this month -- having gone to Atlanta from Cleveland in the Kyle Korver deal -- and it looks likely that his NBA career is coming to an end.
Williams has played 13 NBA season, averaging 13.2 points, 4.9 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game over his career. He was named an All-Star in the 2008-2009 season and has played for seven different franchises.
