Hawks no longer looking to trade Paul Millsap

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Paul Millsap stated he would like to remain with the team, and general manager Wes Wilcox has reportedly begun to inform other clubs that the three-time All Star is no longer for sale.

What It Means:

Considering Millsap's comments, the Hawks likely feel confident they'll be able to retain him in free agency. Millsap's value should improve as he and Dwight Howard continue to develop their chemistry over the remaining course of the season.

Millsap is in the midst of yet another excellent season, averaging 17.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.1 3-pointers per game. His 1.7 nERD ties him for 59th in the NBA and is second on the Hawks.
