Miami's Josh Richardson (foot) seen in walking boot
Miami Heat guard/forward Josh Richardson (sprained left foot) was spotted wearing a full walking boot on Monday.
Richardson tried playing through an injury that allegedly occurred on December 30, which only worsened the pain. An MRI fortunately didn't reveal any structural damage, but head coach Erik Spoelstra admitted that Richardson is unlikely to play on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors. Goran Dragic will see a bump in usage while Wayne Ellington and Dion Waiters should receive more minutes.
Richardson is averaging 11.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 3-pointers in 31.3 minutes per game this season. His -2.7 nERD ranks a disappointing 428th out of 451 NBA players.
