Emmanuel Mudiay plays limited minutes in Nuggets' loss on Wednesday
Denver Nuggets guard Emmanuel Mudiay spent most of the second half on the bench, tallying six points, two rebounds and one assist in only 18 minutes of action as the Nuggets lost to the Brooklyn Nets 116-111 on Wednesday.
Jameer Nelson saw some extended run with Mudiay on the bench, and Mike Malone has said that he will "look at starting groups and combinations". Mudiay hasn't played more than 22 minutes in either of his last two games, and it would be no surprise if he weren't in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Washington Wizards.
Mudiay's -17.4 nERD was the second-worst mark among Nuggets players in Wednesday's loss, per numberFire Live. His -3.8 nERD on the season ranks dead-last in the NBA.
