Rajon Rondo has first triple-double of season in Bulls' win

Chicago Bulls guard Rajon Rondo triple-doubled against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists, three steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

Rondo has been starting to pick up his play lately and has averaged 12.0 points, 9.0 assists and 9.5 rebounds over his last four games. Coach Fred Hoiberg said he has been impressed with how Rondo has run the offense and he will head into Saturday's game against Dallas with another strong opportunity at a triple-double.

Rondo is now averaging 8.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 7.6 assists over 30.9 minutes per game. He owns just a .425 effective field goal percentage and his nERD of -0.3 ranks him tied for 269th in the league.
