Nikola Jokic out versus Rockets on Friday
Denver Nuggets forward Nikola Jokic (left wrist) will not play against the Houston Rockets on Friday.
Jokic played through what appeared to be a minor wrist injury on Wednesday, so it comes as a bit of a surprise the big man is inactive. In his place, expect Kenneth Faried and Jusuf Nurkic to see extended minutes.
Jokic has been off to a slow start this year after an incredibly productive rookie campaign. The Nuggets forward/center is averaging 9.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while shooting 50.4 percent from the floor.
