Pacers' Paul George sitting out on Sunday
Indiana Pacers forward Paul George (sore left ankle) is not expected to play on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
George said that he is sitting out due to long term concerns with this ankle injury and that he wants to be "strong for us late in the year." It seems like he is just day to day and we still don't know the results of his MRI, but the Pacers play tomorrow too, so he might be in danger of missing a few games. With CJ Miles out as well, Glenn Robinson III is about to play a huge role on Sunday.
George is averaging 21.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 34.7 minutes per game. He is shooting just over 40% from beyond the arc and it's leading to a career-best .533 effective field goal percentage.
