Anthony Davis scores 50 points in Pelicans' loss
New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis exploded for 50 points, 16 rebounds, seven steals, five assists and four blocks in a loss to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.
Davis made 17-of-34 field goals and 16-of-17 free throws on the night and was basically the only source of offense for the Pelicans. With Tyreke Evans still making his way back from injury and Jrue Holiday on personal leave, more nights like this could be on the way.
Davis' 45.5 usage rate would have been the biggest of the night if it weren't for the Process in Philly putting up a 47.1 usage rate in his NBA debut. Davis was a little more efficient though, with a 60.3 true shooting percentage.
