Chandler Parsons (knee) ruled out for Wednesday
Memphis Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsons (knee rehab) will not play in Wednesday's season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves, head coach David Fizdale said on Monday.
There was some optimism that Parsons would be ready for Wednesday, but his recovery from right knee surgery will delay his Grizzlies' debut for at least a game. Parsons was signed to a $94.4-million max deal this summer, so Memphis is being understandably cautious with their lavish investment.
numberFire sees Parsons putting up 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.7 3-pointers on 47.1 percent shooting from the field this upcoming season.
