Gary Harris' (groin) misses Nuggets' practice Sunday, remains hopeful
Denver Nuggets shooting guard Gary Harris (groin) did not practice on Sunday.
Harris said he needs to practice Monday to play on opening night. It's not a significant injury, so even if he's unavailable for Wednesday, Harris would be taking the court by the first week in November at the very latest. The injury is pushing his price tag down draft boards, creating appealing value for someone with the mid-round upside he offers.
Our models expect Harris to make 1.9-of-3.9 3-point attempts per game this season, adding 13.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals in 31.7 minutes a game. This is based on a 78-game projection.
