Jared Sullinger doubtful for Raptors' opener
Toronto Raptors forward/center Jared Sullinger (left foot soreness) is doubtful to play in Toronto's season opener.
What It Means:
Sullinger had his foot stepped on October 4th and has not suited up since. He has been doing some jumpers recently, but he also may be headed for a second opinion since pain has persisted nearly three weeks. For now, Patrick Patterson looks like he will start for Toronto until Sully is fully healthy.
Sullinger posted a decent 1.6 nERD, which ranked 64th, last season, his fourth in the NBA. His shooting struggled, however, as his .476 true shooting and .453 effective field goal percentages were both the lowest of his career.
