Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant racked up 21 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal in 24 minutes of preseason action against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
What It Means:
This huge performance in a 45-point Warriors win is a good sign that Durant is gelling well with his new teammates in Golden State.
Durant is coming off of a phenomenal season in which he posted a career-high 12.4 percent total rebound rate, the second highest assist rate of his career at 24.2 percent, while still finishing third in the league with 28.2 points per game. His 19.7 nERD was second only to new teammate Stephen Curry.
