Chris Bosh says he's ready to play for Heat
Miami Heat forward/center Chris Bosh said he is "ready to play," while speaking on Uninterrupted's Open Run Podcast.
"We’ve been talking about it for a long time," Bosh said. "We released a statement back in May saying as soon as I’m ready to play as soon as possible, we’ll play. And I’m ready." The Miami Herald also reports, "the expectation is that the Heat will clear Bosh to play, although the timetable isn't determined, and it's unclear whether he would be available for every game." Nothing is guaranteed with Bosh's health this season, and it remains to be seen if Miami will limit him to some extent, but it does sound like the big man will be ready to go to start the year for the Heat. He makes for an attractive pick in fantasy drafts, with plenty of upside, after the top-tier players are off the board.
Bosh was solid when on the court last season, averaging 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 53 games. He had a 6.1 nERD that ranked 26th in the league.
