Hawks continue to evaluate Dwight Howard (dehydration)

Atlanta Hawks forward/center Dwight Howard (dehydration) is going under an "exhaustive medical review" by the team, according to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

What It Means:

Howard was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night for dehydration, but was then released on Monday morning. Dehydration remains the official diagnosis and Vivlamore claims all signs continue to be positive and heading in the right direction. Stay tuned for an update from the Hawks on Howard's status.

Howard quietly had a strong year last season, ranking 46th in the league with a 3.6 nERD, while his 20.2 percent total rebound rate was his best since leaving Orlando, and his .604 true shooting percentage was his best since 2010.
