Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol (foot) will participate in Memphis' full-team scrimmage on October 1, according to a team press release.
What It Means:
This seems like a good sign for Gasol, especially after an off-season without much information on his recovery being released, but as a 31-year-old 7-footer, expect the Grizzlies to exercise a ton of caution with his return.
Gasol averaged 16.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 blocks in 34.4 minutes per game this past season. He only played in 52 games, earning a nERD of -0.1, which ranked 81st in the league.
