What It Means:

It's typically good practice to take player self-assessments with a grain of salt, but considering how things have gone since the 76ers selected Embiid with the third overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, this is noteworthy. There's no clarity regarding his role with the team, but he did admit that he'll "probably" be on some restricted playing time, which was to be expected.
