Clippers' DeAndre Jordan ties USA record with 16 rebounds against Spain
Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan earned another start against Spain on Friday, tying the U.S. Olympic record with 16 rebounds while adding nine points, four blocks, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes.
Jordan rode the bench for most of the quarter finals game against Argentina with the big game from DeMarcus Cousins, but he was fantastic in the semis against Spain. His defense and pick and roll offense have been big additions to Team USA's starting five.
Jordan is leading Team USA with 6.3 rebounds per game in the Olympic tournament, while adding 7.9 points and 0.9 blocks per game. He owned a 12.7 nERD in the 2015-2016 season, but a lot of it was played without Blake Griffin, which inflated his stats of 12.7 points and 13.8 rebounds per game last NBA season.
