Wizards unlikely to extend Otto Porter's contract
Washington Wizards forward Otto Porter is unlikely to receive a contract extension, per CSN Mid-Atlantic's J. Michael.
Porter is set to be a restricted free agent next off-season, and with the cap expected to rise once again, the 23-year-old could be in for a big deal if he plays well this season.
Porter ranked 53rd in the NBA with a 2.8 nERD last season, while he averaged 11.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per game. He also posted career-highs in true shooting percentage (.564) and player efficiency rating (14.5).
