Jamal Crawford unhappy with Clippers?
Jamal Crawford is reportedly unhappy with his situation on the Los Angeles Clippers. He has expressed he would prefer to be a free agent.
The 35-year-old Crawford is entering the final year of his contract and was seeking a contract extension this summer. He has been involved with trade rumors throughout the summer.
Crawford posted a subpar -0.3 nERD last season while averaging 15.8 points and 2.5 assists per game. He ranked fourth on the team with a 16.6 Player Efficiency Rating and fifth with 2.5 Offensive Win Shares. Crawford has had to anchor a weak bench the last few seasons, but new additions such as Lance Stephenson, Cole Aldrich, and Josh Smith should lighten his workload this upcoming season.
