Dwyane Wade agrees to two-year deal with Bulls

The Chicago Bulls and guard Dwyane Wade have come to terms on a two-year, $47.5 million contract.

What It Means:

After spending 13 seasons and helping bring three titles to Miami, Wade's storied tenure with the Heat will come to a bitter end. Owner Pat Riley wasn't willing to offer the greatest player in franchise history what he deserved, so the Chicago native ultimately signed a two-year deal with the Bulls that includes a second-year player option. Wade will likely join Rajon Rondo, Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson and Robin Lopez in the starting lineup for Chicago. A dip in usage will probably cost Wade a couple rounds of value in fantasy drafts.

Wade finished 87th in the NBA with a -0.7 nERD last year, but the playoffs were a reminder of what he's still capable of. He averaged 21.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 33.8 minutes per game, with a 22.3 player efficiency rating in the postseason.
