Jeff Green heading to Magic on one-year deal
Guard/forward Jeff Green has reached a one-year, $15 million deal with the Orlando Magic.
What It Means:
Equipped with enough cap space to purchase a small island and determined to add talent to the roster, the Magic have so far added Green, Jodie Meeks and D.J. Augustin. On the bright side, Green and Meeks are only on the books for a year, so Orlando will get to do it all over again next offseason.
Green averaged 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists on a .510 true shooting percentage last season, which was his worst clip since his rookie season. He ranked 114th in the league with a -3.5 nERD last year.
