Al Jefferson nearing a deal with the Pacers

The Indiana Pacers and free agent center Al Jefferson are nearing a deal, per The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

What It Means:

Flying a bit under the radar in a free agent class that was stacked at center, Jefferson could prove to be a solid acquisition for Indiana.

He only played 23.3 minutes per game this season, but contributed 12.0 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, finishing 69th in the league with a 1.1 nERD. Jefferson still has a lot to offer on the court, recording a 18.2 player efficiency rating, .507 true shooting percentage, 15.0 percent total rebound rate and a 3.0 block percentage.
