Nets add Jeremy Lin to roster with three-year deal

Guard Jeremy Lin has come to terms with the Brooklyn Nets on a three-year, $36 million deal.

What It Means:

Albeit in different threads, Linsanity has returned to New York. Now 27-years-old, Lin is reunited with head coach Kenny Atkinson, whom he worked with during his tenure with the New York Knicks. He is expected to be the starting point guard on opening night, providing a meaningful bump to his fantasy value. The deal includes a player option in the third year.

Lin's not coming off of a great season, posting career-lows with a 13.8 player efficiency rating and 18.6 percent assist rate. His 53.4 true shooting percentage was also the lowest since his rookie year. He ranked 100th in the NBA with a -2.0 nERD.
