Detroit close to shipping Jodie Meeks to Orlando
Detroit Pistons shooting guard Jodie Meeks will reportedly be sent to the Orlando Magic for a 2019 future second-round pick.
At this time, it's unclear if there is more to this trade, but Meeks will have a shot as significant playing time -- maybe even a starting gig -- with Orlando, if he's the only player going to the Magic.
Just 28, Meeks played just three games last season due to injury. A sharpshooter, he owns a 51.8 Effective Field Goal Percentage for his career. He hit 40.1 percent of his 3-pointers with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2013-'14.
