Miami's Hassan Whiteside fully recovered from knee injury

Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside has said he has fully recovered from a knee injury that he suffered in the playoffs, which had him on the sidelines for the last four games of Miami's playoff run.

What It Means:

Whiteside is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and with the Heat unable to match the max-contract offers he's sure to receive from some teams, his landing spot is still very much up in the air.

Whiteside had an excellent season, averaging 14.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and a league-leading 3.7 blocks per game. He posted a 23.1 percent total rebound rate, 9.7 percent block rate, 62.9 True Shooting Percentage, and ranked ninth in the NBA with a 12.4 nERD.
