Celtics to waive Zoran Dragic
The Boston Globe's Adam Himmelsbach reports that the Celtics intend to waive the newly acquired Zoran Dragic as the Heat agree to pay his salary next season.
The Celtics don't have a need for Dragic due to their young depth in the backcourt. However, the 2020 second-round pick they also received from the Heat could come in handy down the road.
Boston finished last season with a 40-42 record before getting swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs. They also finished 18th overall in our team power rankings with a nERD of 49.3, where a score of 50 is a league average.
