Warriors eyeing Joakim Noah and Al Horford

The Golden State Warriors will look at center Al Horford and center Joakim Noah in free agency according to the Mercury News.

What It Means:

The two big men won back to back National Championships in college as teammates at Florida. Signing both to contracts this summer isn't too far out of the realm of possibility, but it's still unlikely. Noah would be the less expensive option, but also would be less of an offensive threat for the team.

Noah spent most of 2015-'16 on the sidelines after injuring his shoulder. He finished the year with some of the worst numbers of his career (4.3 points, 8.8 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per game) while posting an Effective Field Goal Percentage of 38.3 percent. Horford had another solid season of 15.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game with an eFG% of 54.7 percent.
